Holy Wins: A Celebration of Faith, Holiness, and Devotion
As the Month of the Holy Rosary draws to a close, the St. Peter Metropolitan Cathedral Parish gathered as one community of faith to celebrate a meaningful and grace-filled occasion through the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, the Parade of Saints, and the Living Rosary.
The celebration served as a beautiful expression of our love for God and our devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Through these activities, the faithful were reminded of the importance of prayer, the beauty of holiness, and the call to live out our Christian faith in our everyday lives.
Amid the worldwide observance of Halloween, our parish embraced the spirit of Holy Wins—a celebration that highlights the triumph of holiness over sin and reminds us of the eternal joy of living a life devoted to God. As we honored the saints through the Parade of Saints, we reflected on their inspiring lives, their unwavering faith, and their remarkable courage in following Christ. Their stories remind us that holiness is not beyond our reach; rather, it is a daily calling to love, serve, forgive, and remain faithful to God.
The Living Rosary further deepened this celebration, bringing the community together in prayer and meditation. Each prayer became a meaningful expression of faith, while each mystery invited us to contemplate the life, passion, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ through the loving guidance of His Blessed Mother. It was a beautiful reminder that the Rosary is not simply a series of repeated prayers but a spiritual journey that draws our hearts closer to Jesus.
As we bid farewell to the month of October, may the devotion we have shared not end with the turning of the calendar. Let the Rosary remain a constant part of our lives—a source of strength in times of difficulty, comfort in moments of uncertainty, and gratitude in times of blessing. May the example of the saints inspire us to become witnesses of Christ's love in our homes, communities, and wherever our faith leads us.
May we continue to choose holiness, nurture our relationship with God, and walk faithfully in the footsteps of Christ. May our celebration of Holy Wins remind us that every day is an opportunity to grow in faith, become better servants of God, and answer the universal call to holiness.
May the Holy Rosary continue to unite us in prayer, strengthen us in faith, and guide us closer to the heart of Jesus.
Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, pray for us!
