Denise Carl Calling, Vicarial Director of Missionary Companions, with Rev. Fr. Manuel Vicente T. Catral, Archdiocesan Pastoral Director, as the speaker. Vicariate of Tuguegarao Missionary Companions Gather for a Meaningful Vicariate Exchange
The Vicariate of Tuguegarao Missionary Companions came together on Saturday, August 29, 2026, for a meaningful and enriching Vicariate Exchange held at the St. Peter Metropolitan Cathedral Gymnasium.
The gathering brought together Missionary Companions from eight parishes of the Vicariate of Tuguegarao, fostering communion, fellowship, and a shared commitment to the mission of the Church. The participating parishes were:
- St. Peter Metropolitan Cathedral
- St. Dominic de Guzman Parish
- Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish
- Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish of Sto. Niño
- St. Rose of Lima Parish
- Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish of Divine Mercy
- St. James the Apostle Parish
- St. Joseph the Spouse of Mary Parish
The Vicariate Exchange was facilitated by the Vicarial Director of Missionary Companions of the Vicariate of Tuguegarao, Rev. Fr. Denise Carl Calling, who guided the participants throughout the gathering. The activity served as an avenue for the Missionary Companions from the different parishes to come together, share experiences, strengthen their relationships, and deepen their understanding of their calling and mission.
The gathering also featured Rev. Fr. Manuel Vicente T. Catral, Archdiocesan Pastoral Director, as the speaker. Through his reflections and insights, Fr. Catral encouraged the participants to deepen their faith, remain steadfast in their commitment, and embrace more fully their role in the mission of the Church.
More than simply an exchange of ideas and experiences, the gathering became a moment of formation, communion, fellowship, and spiritual renewal. It reminded the Missionary Companions that their mission is strengthened when they journey together, support one another, and faithfully respond to God's call to serve.
The participation of the eight parishes reflects the growing spirit of collaboration and unity within the Vicariate of Tuguegarao. Through gatherings such as this, the Missionary Companions are continually formed and inspired to become witnesses of faith and instruments of God's love in their respective communities.
May the fruits of this Vicariate Exchange continue to inspire every Missionary Companion to faithfully live out their calling, strengthen the bonds of communion, and generously serve God's people.
