FAITH IN ACTION THROUGH SERVICE: YOUTH ENGAGE IN PARISH HOUSEHOLD PROFILING

The youth of St. Peter Metropolitan Cathedral gathered on Monday, August 31, 2026, to participate in the completion and encoding of the Parish Household Profiling into the Archdiocese of Tuguegarao’s system.

The activity forms part of the parish’s continuing implementation of the Missionary Conversion Path – Year 1, which focuses on listening, understanding, and aligning with the realities of the communities entrusted to the Church.

With dedication and a spirit of service, the young people worked together in encoding the gathered household information into the Archdiocesan system. Through this process, the parish seeks to develop a clearer understanding of the families and communities within its pastoral territory, including their situations, needs, concerns, and strengths.

The household profiling is more than simply collecting and organizing information. It is an important step in strengthening the Church’s missionary presence by helping pastoral leaders and volunteers better understand the people they are called to serve. The information gathered can help guide future pastoral programs, community initiatives, and responses that are more relevant to the actual needs of the faithful.

For the youth, their participation is also an opportunity to put their faith into action. By offering their time, skills, and energy, they contribute to the wider mission of the Church and become active partners in building a more responsive and caring parish community.

This initiative reflects the spirit of “Faith in Action through SERVICE”—a reminder that Christian service can take many forms, including listening, gathering information, working together, and helping the Church understand and accompany its people more effectively.

As the parish continues its journey through the Missionary Conversion Path, the youth of St. Peter Metropolitan Cathedral remain committed to serving with compassion, working with dedication, and participating actively in the mission of the Church.

Faith in Action. Youth in Service. Mission in Progress.
