The St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish - Gattaran (SCAP-Gattaran) blessed animals on October 4 following the parish Masses as part of its observance of the Season of Creation 2026 and the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, patron of ecology.
Families brought their pets and animals to the parish grounds for the blessing, offering a simple expression of gratitude for the gift of creation and the companionship animals bring to their homes.
The activity reminded the faithful that stewardship extends to all of God’s creation, calling families to care for animals with compassion, respect, and responsibility.
