Parents of First Communicants Prepare Faith and Hearts in Parish Recollection

In preparation for the upcoming First Holy Communion of Grade 4 pupils on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, the parish successfully conducted a solemn Parents’ Recollection to spiritually guide and equip the families of the young communicants.   The recollection was led by Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Carlos A. Bangay alongside Parochial Vicar Rev. Fr. Jhon Christian E. Ragguinan. The gathering was actively attended by parents and catechists representing the parish's four clusters: Greenfields, Greenmeadows, Hillside, and Bamboo Grove. The parish initiated this activity to emphasize the indispensable role of parents as the primary educators of faith for their children. As the Grade 4 pupils prepare to receive the Holy Eucharist for the first time, the recollection served as a timely reminder that spiritual nurture begins at home. Through prayer, guidance, and personal example, parents are called to walk hand-in-hand with their children in sustaining a life centered on Christ and the Church.   The event concluded with a renewed sense of commitment among parents, ensuring that both their homes and hearts are fully prepared to support their children as they take this sacred step in their Catholic journey on Wednesday.
