New Altar Servers Vow to Serve in Solemn Rites of Investiture

A milestone in the spiritual journey of local youth was celebrated today, October 4, 2026, as 177 new altar servers were officially invested and commissioned during a solemn Eucharistic celebration.   The Holy Mass was presided over by Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Carlos A. Bangay, alongside Parochial Vicar Rev. Fr. Jhon Christian E. Ragguinan, who concelebrated the mass and guided the young servers in making their sacred commitment to the sanctuary.   During the Rite of Investiture, the young servers were formally vested in their albs - a symbolic gesture representing purity, humility, and a readiness to assist at the altar of the Lord. In the homily, the clergy emphasized the importance of discipline, prayerfulness, and reverence, reminding the newly commissioned servers to act as role models not only inside the church, but also in their schools, homes, and everyday lives.   Parents and relatives looked on with joy and pride as their children received the official blessing and acceptance into the Ministry of Altar Servers.   The celebration concluded with a final blessing and a commemorative group photo with the clergy, leaving the newly invested servers inspired to faithfully serve God and the parish community.
