WALKING TOGETHER IN FAITH: PAROKIA SAN TELMO BECs JOURNEYING IN SYNODALITY Sept 13, 2026 | Parish BEC Exchange

ECO-ROSARY: WALKING WITH MARY, CARING FOR CREATION On the evening of September 12, 2026, parishioners of Parokia San Telmo gathered in prayer for an Eco-Rosary as part of the parish’s celebration of the Season of Creation. The prayer-walk began at the parish grounds and proceeded to the shoreline of Brgy. Punta, with participants praying the Rosary as they walked. The Parish Youth Ministry initiated the activity, joined by Rev. Fr. Christian Dave Remudaro and parishioners. The image of the Blessed Virgin Mary was carried throughout the procession, symbolizing Mary’s guidance as we care for God’s creation. Mary, who lovingly welcomed Christ into the world, teaches us to receive creation with gratitude and to protect our common home. Through the Eco-Rosary, every prayer and every step became a commitment to care for our seas, shores, and all of God’s creation. Special thanks to MEDCOM ONE for assisting with traffic and ensuring the safe passage of the procession. Mary, Mother of Creation, pray for us and guide us in caring for our common home.

CALLED, GATHERED, AND SENT: YOUTH EVANGELIZATION 2026 The recently concluded Youth Evangelization 2026 brought together young people from different barangays in a meaningful journey of faith, fellowship, and encounter. Guided by the theme “Beloved, Gifted, and Empowered in Mission,” each gathering became an opportunity for the youth to connect, reflect, and recognize the gifts God has entrusted to them. ‎ ‎More than simply an activity, Youth Evangelization aims to bring the Gospel closer to young people, strengthen their relationship with Christ, and encourage them to become active witnesses of faith in their own communities. Through these gatherings, the youth are given a space to listen, share, build friendships, and discover how they can take part in the mission of the Church. ‎ ‎At the same time, this initiative helps establish and strengthen Barangay Youth Ministries by gathering young people within their communities and creating a foundation for continued fellowship, formation, and service. It reminds us that evangelization does not end after one gathering—it continues through a youth community that walks together, serves together, and grows together in faith. ‎ ‎More than an event, Youth Evangelization reminded us that every young person has a purpose in God’s plan. We are beloved, gifted, and empowered to share God’s love and become instruments of His mission wherever we are. ‎ ‎ ‎“Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” ‎— 1 Timothy 4:12 ‎ ‎ ‎May this experience inspire every young person to confidently answer God’s call, strengthen the youth ministry in their own barangays, and live out their mission wherever they are sent. ‎ ‎Chosen. 𝑻𝑨𝑰𝒁É 𝑷𝑹𝑨𝒀𝑬𝑹 𝑩𝑹𝑰𝑵𝑮𝑺 𝑺𝑬𝑨𝑺𝑶𝑵 𝑶𝑭 𝑪𝑹𝑬𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵 𝑳𝑨𝑼𝑵𝑪𝑯𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑻𝑶 𝑨 𝑷𝑹𝑨𝒀𝑬𝑹𝑭𝑼𝑳 𝑪𝑳𝑶𝑺𝑬 09.05.2026 ‎ ‎The launching of the Season of Creation 2026 with the theme “Living Water” culminated in a Taizé Prayer, gathering young people and the Sisters from the Missionaries of Charity in a solemn evening of prayer and reflection, with Rev. Fr. Christian Dave Remudaro joining the community in the celebration. ‎ ‎Through meditative songs, Scripture, silence, and communal prayer, the participants were invited to reflect on God’s presence in creation and humanity’s responsibility to care for our common home. The prayer provided a peaceful space for everyone to deepen their faith and recognize water as a precious gift that sustains life. ‎ ‎As the final activity of the launching, the Taizé Prayer served as a reminder that the Season of Creation goes beyond a single celebration. It calls the faithful to turn prayer into action by protecting water, caring for the environment, and becoming responsible stewards of God’s creation. ‎ ‎The gathering concluded in a spirit of peace, unity, and renewed commitment, sending the participants forth to live out the message of “Living Water” through simple yet meaningful actions for the care of our common home. ‎
