28th Sunday in Ordinary Time | October 11, 2026
With grateful hearts, our parish community gathered today for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, presided over by Rev. Fr. Macario L. Malano, Jr.
In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us of God’s invitation to His banquet—a call to share in the joy of His Kingdom. Yet, accepting this invitation requires more than simply being present; it calls for a heart that is open, properly disposed, and willing to be transformed by His grace.
In his homily, Fr. Malano reminded us that every Sunday is a special encounter with the Lord. We may be physically present in the church, but the deeper question is whether we allow Christ to change our hearts. Our participation in the Holy Eucharist must lead us to genuine conversion, renewed faith, and a life that reflects His love.
May we never take the Lord’s invitation for granted. May every celebration of the Holy Mass draw us closer to Him and inspire us to live according to His will, with hearts ready to receive His grace and lives willing to be transformed.
“Many are invited, but few are chosen.”
— Matthew 22:14
May we always respond to God’s invitation with sincere faith and hearts ready to be renewed by His love.
